Ubuntu, keyboard layout switches to English US after a restart

What:

Ubuntu 14.04

Problem:

Greeter screen has keyboard layout selection icon: US and UK, even though there is only UK keyboard added on the system. Keyboard layout also switches to English US after a reboot, I have to click on language icon and select UK to make it work.

Solution:

1. Start gnome-terminal
2. Use following command to bring iBus preferences

$ ibus-setup

3. On advanced tab select
