Shrink winsxs folder on Windows 7/2008 R2

What:

Windows 7/2008 R2

Problem:

No space on C drive, folder C:\Windows\winsxs is huge.

Solution:

If you system has a Service Pack installed, Windows will keep a copy of it to allow uninstalling it in case any issues.
If you don't have any problems with your system then simply delete that copy.

Click Start type in a search box cmd, right click on it and select "Run as administrator".

Run following command:
C:\Windows\System32\DISM.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /spsuperseded /hidesp
That should free up at least few gigs of space.
